Lotion type cm 2 days before AF is due??? - what should cm look like before af

I have had many symptoms of pregnancy. AF is due tomorrow. tried yesterday and today and BFN. I checked my neck last night. I'm pretty high, not too soft nor too hard, and my fingers seemed CM white lotion. This is my first time to check my cervix, so I really do not know what this issue. Can anyone help?
