REO seller trying to back out of contract North Carolina? - north carolina appraisal license
I have to buy time on behalf of REO property from Fannie Mae. I expected to be completed in two days. Last week had to give my agent, some contractors look at the house to estimates. The contract began to do some work at home without written or verbal permission to me or my agent. The sellers agent immediately contact with us and the contractors were told to leave. My agent had to say a confrontation with an officer of the Seller and the officer that the trader can cancel the contract, my agent connected to an end. Since then tried the officer to get my agent, with the sales office in charge. No answer on Thursday. Friday was contacted and said they hoped to answer asset manager for Fannie Mae. Monday, there was no answer. Tuesday (today) still no word about the 10 hours I'm supposed to close within 48 hours. They kept looking for the title until you hear them again. I've already invested in 1500 in commitment fees, home inspection and pest evaluation, climate and pump control. The seller may withdraw from this, contRACT in North Carolina? Will I get back my deposit ($ 5,000) and invested in 1500. I have heard of so-called "specific performance" which could force the vendor to sell? What do you think are my options? Has anyone tried to REO and Fannie Mae? "I am ready to close, and today both financially and emotionally invested. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
